How to Connect to VPN with PaloAlto (GlobalProtect)

a. **THESE STEPS ARE FOR FIRST TIME SETUP ONLY.**
These are the instructions for connecting to the new VPN client which should already be installed on your device. You will have to open GlobalProtect whenever you need VPN Access. If you do not have the client installed on your machine, please contact the IT Helpdesk at +1 (850) 201-8545 for assistance.
1. On the bottom right of the Taskbar you will locate a “^”, select it.
2. Select the GlobalProtect (grey globe icon).
3. After GlobalProtect opens, select “Get Started”.
4. Under the Domain/IP input: vpn.tcc.fl.edu
a. Select “Connect”
5. Allow GlobalProtect to connect.
6. Logon with your TCC Email address and password.
7. Authenticate your logon.
8. You will be prompted to open GlobalProtect. Check the box and click Open
**ENSURE THE CHECKBOX IS SELECTED. OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE PROMPTED EVERYTIME YOU CONNECT TO THE VPN**
9. Once connected you will have access to the VPN.
10. To disconnect from VPN open GlobalProtect.
11. Select the menu in the top right.
12. Select “Disconnect”.
