How can I decline or change my student loans that have been awarded or offered to me?

In your Workday account you have the ability to accept, partially accept or decline loan award amounts.

1)  Log into Workday www.tcc.fl.edu/workday with your TCC user name and password
2)  On the left side of your Workday dashboard, click menu at the top
3)  Select the Student Finance Hub from your list of apps
4) Click View Financial Aid
5)  Select the Institution: Tallahassee Community College
6)  Select the Award Year and click the orange "ok" button at the bottom 
7) Scroll down and click the Accept/Decline Awards button.
8) Under the ‘Decision’ field, select the three horizontal lines
9) Choose your decision (Accept, Accept Partial: must enter amount in Amount Accepted field, Decline)
10) Complete steps 8 & 9 for ALL offered award terms (Fall, Spring, Summer)
11)  Then, select the orange ‘OK’ button and then select the orange ‘Done’ button to save your selections.

Note:
All loan programs require repayment.
Class attendance must be verified before any loans can be disbursed.

To decline a loan you accepted you must complete the Federal Direct Loan Cancel Form. The form can be found in Workday.  Once logged in , locate the menu in the upper left corner, select the Student Finance Hub.  In the hub, locate Suggested Links on the left side and click on TCC College Forms > Submit a New Form > Financial Aid.

 

To accept a loan you declined you must complete the Federal Direct Loan Request Form. The form can be found in Workday.  Once logged in, locate the menu in the upper left corner, select the Student Finance Hub.  In the hub, locate Suggested Links on the left side and click on TCC College Forms > Submit a New Form > Financial Aid.
