Can I repeat a college course more than three times?

Students may only repeat a college course for a third time in extreme extenuating circumstances and must submit an appeal providing an explanation and documentation as to why the appeal should be granted so the course can be repeated again.

This form is submitted electronically and can found on Workday under Student Forms. Sign in using your Student ID and password.

The appeal must first be approved by the Enrollment Appeals Committee before the student will be able to register for their third attempt.

For more information on enrollment appeals, click here.

Students whose appeals are granted should be prepared to be charged out-of-state tuition for the cost of the class. The appeal form and supporting documentation may be faxed to (850) 201-8473, emailed to studentaffairs@tcc.fl.edu or brought to the Office of Student Affairs.
