What is the GPA requirement for SAP?

Below are the three Standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress for Financial Aid. These Standards apply to all students:

1. GPA

  • 1-14 attempted hours: must maintain a 1.75 GPA or better
  • 15 or more attempted hours: must maintain a 2.0 GPA or better

2. Cumulative Completion Rate

  • Must complete at least 67% of classes attempted (including developmental courses, withdrawals, incomplete courses, unsatisfactory grades [failures] and transfer credit hours)

3. Maximum Time Frame

  • Must complete the degree program before attempting more than 150 percent of the total credit hours required for the program
