The Free Application for Federal Student Aid opens annually (historically on October 1st) for the next academic year (Fall, Spring and Summer). and may be completed online at StudentAid.gov. Students must reapply for financial aid each year.
For the 2024-2025 academic year, the Federal Government is making changes to the FASFA which is delaying the application opening. Tentatively, the FASFA is scheduled to open in December 2023.
