Once TCC enables multi-factor authentication (MFA) (also called 2-step verification), you have to set up your user account to use it.
1. When you log in to Canvas, My TCC, Office 365, Teamdynamix, Workday or login.tcc.fl.edu sign in with your TCC Email Address and Password.
2. On the More information required prompt
a) Select Next
3. From the Keep your account secure page, you must decide which two-factor verification method to use to verify you are who you say you are after signing into your account
a. To use the Microsoft Authenticator app select Download now, then follow the instructions How to Setup the Microsoft Authenticator App We highly encourage you to set up the Microsoft Authenticator App as your primary MFA contact method.
b. To use a phone select I want to set up a different method, then follow the instructions Use a phone as the contact method
Take a look at the options in the table, and use the links to go to the setup steps for each method.

Receive notifications for verification. This option pushes a notification to the authenticator app on your smartphone or tablet. View the notification and, if it is legitimate, select Authenticate in the app. Your work or school may require that you enter a PIN before you authenticate.
Use verification code. In this mode, the authenticator app generates a verification code that updates every 30 seconds. Enter the most current verification code in the sign-in interface.
The Microsoft Authenticator app is available for Windows Phone, Android, and IOS.
We highly encourage you to set up the Microsoft Authenticator App as your primary MFA contact method.
