Does TCC offer the Florida Civic Literacy Exam?

TCC offers the Florida Civic Literacy Exam (FCLE).  It is a graduation requirement so students will need to successfully pass the State of Florida’s Civic Literacy Exam (FCLE).  There are 80 questions total on the exam.  The passing score is 60% to meet the requirement.  

Testing for the FCLE will be offered weekly on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays (face to face) and Tuesdays and Fridays (remote) by appointment.  

  • Appointments will be scheduled for a one-hour window though examinees may take as much time as needed. 
  • In-person testing blocks for Tuesdays-Thursday will be 9 a.m.,10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.
  • Remote testing blocks will be 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.
