Can my financial aid transfer from Tallahassee Community College to a new college/university?

TCC students transferring to another institution/school, who wish to receive Financial Aid at their new school, should complete the following steps:

• Visit studentaid.gov to remove TCC from your FAFSA form and ADD your new school.
   
• If you are a Bright Futures recipient, be sure to visit the Bright Futures website to list your new school as your post-secondary institution.
   
• If you are a FL Prepaid recipient, be sure to contact Florida Prepaid to inform them of the change in institutions.
   
• If you have been awarded aid at TCC for a semester that you will not be attending, email FINAID@TCC.FL.EDU to request a cancellation of your Financial Aid. Be sure to include your TCC student ID number.
