How can I register for a class for a fourth time?

Students are only authorized to register for a class for a fourth attempt in extreme extenuating circumstances. The fourth attempt must first be approved by the Enrollment Appeals Committee.

The appeal form is submitted electronically and can be found in a student's Workday account under TCC College Forms and the Student Affairs category.  The committee decision will be provided in the student's TCC Outlook email.

A student who is permitted to take a course for the fourth time (to complete a degree/certificate from TCC) must see an advisor  to get registered into the approved course.

The student will not be permitted to withdraw and will receive a grade in the course; the fourth attempt is the last permissible attempt in a course in the state system of public higher education in Florida.

Note  Students whose appeals are granted should be prepared to be charged out-of-state tuition for the cost of the class as required by Florida statute.

For more information view the Enrollment Appeals webpage.
