How do I receive the FSEOG grant?

The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is a grant awarded to students in need of financial aid. It is a type of federal grant awarded to college undergraduate program students and does not need to be repaid. A student awarded the FSEOG is given an amount between $100 - $4,000 per aid year depending on the gravity of the student’s financial aid need.

Several FSEOG requirements must be met: (1) A student is eligible for the FSEOG if he or she is a U.S. citizen. (2) The full-time student must have a filled out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). And finally, (3) if the student is in significant financial need of funding for college.
